AI for Better Customer Impact
It’s so exciting to join Noodle.ai at this inflection point of growth in 2019. This is the year we take our world-class marketing team, our scrappy, agile, test-and-learn environment, and my global enterprise marketing expertise and celebrate Noodle’s 3rd birthday (on Pi Day!) and continued success. We have so much to look forward to this year, and we can’t wait to tell you about it.
Personally, I enter the year with this question: “How will I make my mark as CMO for an AI company that puts “AI for good” high on its list of priorities and help Noodle.ai stand out in the unchartered Industrial AI space where we compete?” My answer? Lead with our customer impact stories. We make our customers the heroes in our work, so we want to highlight our customer hero stories as they discover the ways integrating Noodle AI apps radically improves their core businesses.
What kind of impact are we making? Let’s take a look.
With so many amazing customer stories to tell in 2019, it’s hard to pick two highlights to call out here! For this post we’ll focus on two stories of impact for steel and transportation and distribution stories.
A multi-billion-dollar steel products manufacturer is increasing revenue by $20 million per year using our Asset Health Intelligence app. They’re evolving from time-based, preventive approach to predictive/prescriptive maintenance. This allows them to boost revenue by increasing equipment uptime plus reducing maintenance and capital replacement costs. We’ll be featuring their impact story soon.
Transportation and Distribution
A two-billion-dollar third-party logistics provider is already saving 7% of their maintenance and transportation costs, and they’re only on the first leg of their AI journey! They are lowering cost per mile by changing a static maintenance schedule to a predictive and dynamic maintenance schedule.
This is the promise of AI – to go beyond the shiny objects of algorithms, IoT, and machine learning and deliver real value to businesses while reducing waste of all types and creating radical efficiency.
